2. Pre-production tests
/ animatics, layouts, scale checks, first assets
Before diving into production, we worked through essential pre-production steps:

• Animatic – Blocking out the entire trailer to establish pacing and action flow

• Layout – Setting up 3D cameras and compositions

Scale Checks – Ensuring accurate proportions for characters and environments.

This iterative testing phase helped us avoid surprises and lock in the structure early.
3. Production
/ client-visible progress, clear feedback loops
With direction and structure in place, we moved into full production. This included:

• Animation passes – Built in stages, with client-visible WIPs

• Feedback rounds – Scheduled review points for animation and lookdev

• Anim tests – Rendered but unfinished scenes for review, balancing overall look

Post-production – FX, compositing, color-correction and final edits

Our transparent approach allowed the client to actively participate and steer the process where needed—no black-box workflows.
4. Final delivery
/ ready to ship, ready to sell
The final trailer premiered at PGA 2024 and became the centerpiece of the game’s public-facing campaign. But beyond just the visuals, our work delivered real business value:

• Boosted wishlist numbers on Steam

• Press-ready material for media outlets

and funding talks
